Developed on the Porsche 964 platform and engineered in collaboration with EGMO, it delivers sharp throttle response, strong mid range torque and a distinctly mechanical character. The engine is configured for immediacy, precision and maximum driver feedback. Every input is translated instantly, creating a driving experience that feels direct, responsive and highly engaging. This setup is particularly suited for demanding roads. On alpine passes and technical, winding sections, the engine reveals its full character through control, consistency and precise power delivery. At the same time, the configuration can be refined to remain usable in everyday driving, combining performance with reliability and drivability. While the 4.3L represents the most focused and engaging configuration, a range of naturally aspirated setups remains available to tailor each Erbacher build to the driver’s preference.

Each chassis is completely restored, chemically stripped and treated with a KTL coating process to ensure long term durability and structural integrity. It is then carefully reworked by hand, refining every surface, edge and transition to achieve a precise and consistent finish. Selected lightweight components, including extensive use of carbon fibre, contribute to a more agile and responsive character. Bodywork elements are developed to support the car’s sharper driving dynamics. Panel alignment, reduced mass and targeted aerodynamic adjustments enhance stability, balance and feedback at speed. Every detail plays a role in the final result. From surface finish to material transitions, the focus is on creating a cohesive and purposeful appearance defined by precision and craftsmanship. The result is a more focused and technical interpretation of the classic 964 silhouette, shaped by function, control and engineering quality.

Interior

he interior of the Erbacher Performance is defined by a purist, driver focused approach. In most configurations, infotainment systems are intentionally omitted to reduce distraction and reinforce a direct connection between driver and machine. Lightweight construction plays a central role. Carbon fibre is used extensively throughout the interior, including seat structures, door panels and trim elements, contributing to both weight reduction and a technical aesthetic. Seating is typically configured with lightweight bucket seats, combining support and control with carefully selected materials such as Alcantara and woven leather surfaces. Driver interaction is further enhanced by elements such as a short shifter system and precisely positioned controls, creating a more immediate and mechanical driving experience. Despite its focused character, the interior can be individually refined. Depending on the configuration, materials such as full leather, woven leather or Alcantara are applied with a consistent and high quality finish. The result is an interior that feels purposeful, tactile and highly engaging, while maintaining the craftsmanship and individuality of an Erbacher build.
